The mission of our research is to reduce the vast knowledge gap between organism health and underlying cellular and molecular modifications with focus on immune competence and bone tissue integrity.
Our Research
Our research projects focus on:
i) responses to external stressors over several generations

ii) how life-history affects occurrence of adult diseases

iii) strengthening the understanding of genotype-phenotype interplay in vertebrates and humans
​
Investigating the impacts of environmental pollutants at multiple biological levels allows us to identify potential novel prognostic and therapeutic markers for human health and environmental risk assessment as a long-term goal.
